New in Version 4:

  • One window instead of two modes. Each of the three mappings – PTT Mapping A, PTT Mapping B and Bluetooth Mapping – chooses its own Source, so a game controller button and an intercom PTT switch can be used at the same time.
  • A game controller button and an intercom PTT switch can key the same headset channel.
  • An Intercom PTT Switch mapping chooses its headset channel: 1, 2, or 1 & 2. With 1 & 2, either switch works and keys both channels.
  • The key a PTT switch sends can be a combination, such as Ctrl + Shift + T, or a key beyond letters and digits, such as F5 or Num-pad 0. Click the Key box and press it.
  • “Aux Module Mode” is now “Intercom PTT Switch”, and works with a PTT switch on the intercom’s front panel or on the PTT AUX MODULE.
  • Settings are kept for each Windows user.
  • A game controller that is unplugged and plugged back in reconnects by itself.

Running as administrator:

  • From version 4.1, PTT Mapper runs as administrator and Windows asks for permission each time it starts. This is needed because Windows does not let a normal application send key presses to one that is running as administrator – and many simulators and ATC programs are started that way. It works exactly the same when they are not.

  • In order to be able to install and use your Software, please first observe the following requirements:
    • Operating System Requirements:
      • Software requires Windows Operating System (10 or higher)
      • .NET Framework v4.7.2 or higher
    • Hardware Requirements:
      • Free disc space requirement: under 1MB
      • RAM requirement: ~25MB
      • A compatible Windows joystick / game controller, if using a Game Controller Button mapping
      • Compatible Flight Sounds Intercom and/or accessories
